Privacy Policy

This describes what Pogift's codebase actually collects and stores today, in plain language — not a substitute for legal review if you rely on this for regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) in your jurisdiction.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: your email address and a salted, hashed password (PBKDF2, 200,000 iterations) — we never store your plaintext password.
  • LinkedIn credentials: used only in memory, once, to connect your account — never written to disk, a database, or a log.
  • Campaign & prospect data: the targeting criteria you set and the LinkedIn prospects Pogift discovers and messages on your behalf.
  • Webshare proxy key: if you connect one, stored so Pogift can assign your accounts a dedicated proxy.
  • Usage/activity data: a short-lived (90-day) log of account events — connection requests sent, campaigns created — shown back to you in your own dashboard.
  • Purchase data: if you buy the codebase license, your email and order status from our payment processor, Dodo Payments — we do not see or store your card details.

2. How we use it

Solely to operate the service: authenticating you, running your campaigns, showing your dashboard, and — for a codebase purchase — fulfilling that order. We do not sell your data, and we do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on pogift.com; the only thing stored in your browser is your login session token.

3. Who we share it with

  • AWS — hosts the application and database (DynamoDB); your data is isolated per account and never queryable by another user.
  • Webshare — only if you connect your own Webshare account, to assign proxies to your LinkedIn accounts.
  • Dodo Payments — processes payment for a codebase purchase as the merchant of record; they handle your card details directly, we never receive them.

We don't share your data with anyone else.

4. How long we keep it

Account, campaign, and prospect data is kept for as long as your account exists. In-progress LinkedIn connection state is automatically deleted after 24 hours. Activity log entries are automatically deleted after 90 days. LinkedIn credentials are never stored at all — see Section 1.

5. Your choices

There is currently no self-serve account deletion or data export in the product. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, email kris@fonemonk.com and we'll handle it directly.

6. Children's privacy

Pogift is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
